Since 1972, Linn products are the result of Ivor Tiefenbrun's dreams of combining his passion of listening to music with his skills and expertise originating from the engineering industry.

The Linn Sondek LP12 turntable was one of the first products introduced by Linn, and is now the longest-lived hi-fi product still in production and popular demand anywhere in the world; the LP12 really is a flagship product of Linn's range. The Sondek LP12 is Linn's standard turntable, that allows you to get the most from all those old vinyl favourites you still have and love. The outstanding musical reproduction that the Sondek delivers is down to its ability to extract more information from the vinyl so increasing the output quality. The highest quality solid wood plinth, suspended sub-chassis and stable arms platform are components that when put together means you can be assured that the Sondek LP12 has an unequalled ability to provide faithful reproductions of your vinyl collection.

The Linn Majik LP12 turntable is an upgraded version of the traditional Sondek. The Linn Majik LP12 has all the same perfectly balanced turntable and other high quality features of the Sondek, plus an extended Pro-ject 9cc tonearm and upgraded power supply. Despite it being 35 years since the Majik LP12 was first made available, it is still the turntable by which all others are judged.
